Boy And His Horse was co-written with Gary Cavanaugh. Gary wanted to write a song about a kid growing up in Texas with a pony. Igrew up on a farm that also had a few horses. Sugar, the pony in the song, was my first horse, and she had a bit of an attitude; she was a good story.
